Candle Making Workshop

Learn the art of making vegan soy wax candles with Sue from VOS Devon. Suitable for anyone over the age of 18, our candle making workshops are full of artistic creativity.

During this fun and informative session you will each make four 100ml candles with crackling wooden wicks. Blend your own signature scents from our range of essential oils and choose botanicals to match your colour scheme or just have fun and make each candle different. Personise each candle with printed labels, provided by us. You can either enjoy using these candles yourself or give as unique handmade gifts to friends and family though do bear in mind candles need 4 weeks to cure and should not be lit any sooner.

We cater for Hen Parties, Stag Do's, Corporate Days out, Team Building, Valentines, Anniversaries, etc. If you can't see a date to suit you please get in touch as we can usually add additional slots most evenings and weekends.

Outline of the Day

Start time for the workshop is 3.00pm. (Please note: Candle Making on 20th October starts at 10.00am)

This experience features candle making for approximately 2 hours in a relaxed atmosphere. 

Teas and cofees are included in the cost of your workshop. A complimentary glass of Prosecco will be served at the end of the workshop to celebrate your creations.

The location of the workshop is at Vegan Organic Skincare Devon, 72 Babbacombe Road, Torquay TQ1 3SW. We are on the A379 next door to The Dog & Duck public house.

Terms & Conditions

Payment of the booking fee indicates acceptance of these terms.

• Full payment is required upon booking to secure your place.
• This course is for adults aged 18 or over.
• VOS Devon reserves the right to cancel a workshop in case of insufficient number of students or unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be made but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred for travel, accommodation etc.
• Once a workshop has been booked and paid for, we are unable to offer any refunds for any reason if you are unable to attend. You can find someone else to attend in your place (must be over 18), in this case please let us know their name and email address 72 hours before the workshop is due to commence.
• VOS Devon makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions. If you have any allergies or you think you might be pregnant, please contact us prior to booking a workshop.
• VOS Devon accepts no liability for adverse reactions to any drinks consumed or to any of the ingredients that participants may come into contact with while at our premises.
